David Kessler, President
With over 15 years in healthcare, David earned his experience by understanding the healthcare marketplace as the founder and President of Sterling Medical Services, LLC, a specialty medical disposable company. He was among the visionaries in the early 1990’s who worked with private payers by creating innovative value propositions for customers, which created the mail-order patient direct supply industry. Today that business is among the fastest growing in healthcare. David sold his interest in Sterling in 2001 to Coloplast Corporation of Copenhagen, Denmark, a $2 billion manufacturer of medical products, and was retained by Coloplast to create one of the first vertically integrated medical manufacturer-provider combinations in home healthcare, leveraging the tools that the combination provided to enhance the solutions to the payer community and ultimately to the patient. David’s ability to develop innovative sales and marketing programs allowed Sterling to contract with over 200 local, regional, and national insurance payers, with a staff of 300 employees. In 2002, David was instrumental in leading and assisting Coloplast with their US reorganization, taking on the management of the US manufacturer and a Shared Services unit in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2005, David assisted Coloplast in negotiating and managing the sale of Sterling Medical to McKesson Corporation, a Fortune 20 medical conglomerate with $100 billion in annual revenues. David earned a BS Degree in Accounting from Temple University.
